Career path and design philosophy
Naomi Kaschte belongs to that generation of fashion designers who quietly but with great impact shape the fashion scene.
Naomi discovered her passion for fashion and design at an early age. Growing up in Hesse, her interest in craftsmanship was significantly influenced by her grandmother, who taught her the basics of handicrafts from a young age.
This early understanding of materials, techniques, and care continues to form the foundation of her creative work.
To further develop her passion professionally, Naomi moved to the fashion school in Sigmaringen to study, where she deepened her design skills and developed a clear design philosophy.
In addition to her creative training, she earned an additional degree in Business Administration from Steinbeis University Berlin, which gave her a sound economic understanding of the fashion industry.
After graduating, she gained initial experience in the bridal fashion industry as well as in the areas of costume and dancewear. These experiences broadened her perspective on different body shapes, movement patterns, and the close connection between clothing and expression. However, instead of committing to a long-term position within an established fashion house, she took the bold step of becoming self-employed. In 2025, she founded her own label, IOMENA and from the outset, she has focused on a clear, elegant, and contemporary aesthetic. Her designs are characterized by their uniqueness and exclusivity, which do not conceal the female or male body, but rather showcase it consciously and confidently.
